ABOUT US
PRISM Theatre Company is an organization that acts as a channel for the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts to further its mission. The PRISM Theatre Company is an association that does not restrict students to their individual crafts, but rather encourages students to combine their different artistic knowledge into one channel. PRISM Theatre Company believes that a unification of architecture, dance, music, media and engineering, art, and film all under the umbrella of performance art will satisfy the necessity for the explorative and innovative program that ASU strives to create. PRISM advocates creativity, by challenging all departments within HIDA to unite successfully through theatre; community, by outsourcing for the first time to other art mediums in the creation of theatre; collaboration, by fusing the specific genres of art into one complex entity; and collegiality, by being an organization for all of HIDA to discover new things about art, society, and culture.
OUR MISSION
PRISM will be an organization that provides an opportunity for all students, regardless of background, to experience the structure of an actual theatre company, supported by peer mentorship. When students leave their classes at the end of the day, PRISM will offer them a challenge to devise new works, produce already published works, and work collaboratively with a team of artists in the design, acting, and technical fields. PRISM will unite art with business, performance with education, mind with body, and theatre with audience.

Farce Side Comedy Hour, also known as Farce Side, is a sketch comedy show that performs weekly at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. We have collaborated in the 2022 Spookshow as well as the 2023 Shit Show, with many more events to come!
